Mountains and sea

The Flows (Tourist Board speak for peat bogs) are left behind for mountains, rivers and finally the sea. Karen says I’m happiest going uphill (even not necessarily in the right direction). So it was today, the climb from Strath Kildonan started gently but after many false summits was a proper grunt. I loved it!. Sadly the photos I took don’t do it justice, so there’s one of the bridge at Kildonan station instead.

Big thanks to Karen for yesterday. She took my big pack in the car for the last 12 miles, making a dull walk for me much easier. After this she drove about a hundred miles to Inverness and didn’t get into the flat until 9pm. No way I could do this without her support,
